Square Sense (“we” or “us” or “our”) is strongly committed to ensuring the privacy of users (“you”) and in the protection and security of their personal data. This privacy policy describes how the personal data is collected, used, and disclosed when you use our web application (“Application”), your rights regarding data protection, and the security measures applied for protection of collected personal data.
Collection of personal data
The information we may collect via the Application includes:
Personal data. In order to use our Application, we will ask you, or your employer, to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to: your email address, first name and last name, phone number.

Usage data may include, but is not limited to: your Internet Protocol address (IP address), operating system type, browser type, browser version, information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Application, the pages of our Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Personal data is processed in the servers provided to us by our cloud infrastructure provider, in our operating offices, and in any other places where Square Sense employees are located. Personal data may be transferred to computers located in the European Union.

We will retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will also retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to comply with our legal obligations.

We adopted several physical, technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including the use of secure servers, firewalls and, in the case of electronic transmission of data information, encryption of communications. However, be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission and storage can be guaranteed against any interception or unauthorized access. Please be aware that despite our efforts, we cannot guarantee complete security of personal data.

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:
Interactions with other users of the Application. If you interact with other users of the Application, those users may see your name, profile photo, your comments and exchanged messages.

Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose personal data if required to do so by law or in response to requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency). We may disclose personal data to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Application, protect against legal liability.

We use cookies in the Application in order to grant you access to the Application. When you access the Application, your personal information is not collected through the use of cookies. You can remove or reject cookies, but be aware that such action will affect the availability and functionality of the Application.

The application may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you use these links and leave the Application, any activity on other websites is not covered by this Privacy Policy.

Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
